Experimental result andconclusion

1.The fixing agent's influence on the glossiness of dark green dye textile

When we dye the dark blue textile with RemazolRR as color matching, the textile’s glossiness changes largest dealt by 1# dye fixing agent, and smallest by dealt by 4# dye fixing agent. All 4 types of dye fixing agent make the glossiness of textile  reddish and bluish to varying degrees. The changes is smaller for Remazon RGB than for remazonlRR, but dealt with the RemazonlRR will cause a little bit greenish. When we use Sumifix matching color, the color glossiness change for dye fixing agent 1# is largest compared with other 3 dye fixing agent. The dye is yellowish compared with RemazolRR, RemazolRGB, that means the shortage of blue light.

2.The fixing agent's influence on the glossiness of garnet textile
When we dye the garnet textile with RemazolRR as color matching, the textile’s glossiness is bluish obviously. Among them, dye fixing agent 1# is the most obvious, 2# and 3# is less obvious, and 4# is least obvious. When we dye the garnet textile with RemazolRR as color matching, the discoloration is much smaller, but the glossiness is greenish. Among them, the dye fixing agent1# and 2# have the largest influence on glossiness. And 4# has smallest influence on the glossiness. When we dye the garnet textile with SumifixHF as color matching, the dye fixing agent 4# have the largest influence on the glossiness. Compared with dye ReinazolRR and RemazolRGB, the color is reddish and yellowish. And the other three dye fixing agent have similar results.

3.The fixing agent's influence on the glossiness of dark blue textile
When we dye the dark blue textile with RemazolI/I/as color matching, the dye fixing agent 1# have the largest influence in glossiness. The textile’s glossiness is bluish and greenish. And the other three dye fixing agent have the similar result, but the glossiness change in great degree. Using dye fixing agent 3# and 4#, the color is greenish, and using 2# , the color is bluish.

When we dye the dark blue textile with RemazolRGB as color matching, using dye fixing agent 1#, the glossiness of textile will become greenish, so the textile’s glossiness is bluish and greenish. But the influence of dye fixing agent 2# on the glossiness of textile is opposite, the glossiness is reddish and yellowish. And the dye fixing agent 3# and 4# is similar to 2#.

When we dye the dark blue textile with SumifixHF as color matching, using dye fixing agent 1#, the glossiness of textile will become bluish and greenish. Using dye fixing agent 3#, the glossiness of textile will become greenish and bluish a bit. Using dye fixing agent 4#, the glossiness of textile will become greenish. But using dye fixing agent 2#, the glossiness of textile is reddish, which is greatly different from the other three dye fixing agent.

When we use dye SumifixEXF, dye fixing agent 2# will cause the glossiness of textile will become bluish and yellowish greatly. And the glossiness changes greatly. Using dye fixing agent 3# and 4#, the glossiness of textile will become yellowish . DA value have smaller change. Using dye fixing agent 1#, the glossiness of textile will become greenish and bluish. it is greatly different from the other three dye fixing agent.

When we use dye CibacronFN, the dye fixing agent 2# will cause the glossiness of textile will become reddish. And using the other three dye fixing agent, the glossiness will become greenish. All dye fixing agent will make the color bluish. The DB value of dye fixing agent is highest, And the lowest is dye fixing 4#. Using dye LevafixCA, four dye fixing agent cause the glossiness of textile reddish. Among them, the dye fixing agent have smallest influence on the glossiness of the textile. And it is the only one dye fixing agent that causes the glossiness of the textile yellowish.

5.The fixing agent's influence on the glossiness of olive color textile

When we use dye CibacronFN, the dye fixing agent 2# will cause the glossiness of textile will become reddish. And using the other three dye fixing agent, the glossiness will become greenish slightly.  dye fixing agent 1#, 3# and 4# will cause the glossiness yellowish. And only dye fixing agent 2 will cause the glossiness bluish. When we dye Olive color textile with LevafixCA as color matching. Except dye=fixing 4#, the other three dye fixing agent will cause the glossiness reddish. Only dye fixing agent 4# will cause the glossiness of 4# greenish. Except dye fixing agent 3#,  the DB value of they other three dye fixing agent have less changes.

When we use dye SumitqxEXF, the dye fixing agent 2# will cause the glossiness of textile will become reddish. And using the other three dye fixing agent, the glossiness will become greenish. Except dye fixing agent 1#, they other three dye fixing have less influence on the DB value. Compared with the other three dye fixing agent, using the dye fixing agent 1# will make the textile glossiness bluish greatly.

6.The fixing agent's influence on the glossiness of gray textile

When we use dye CibacronEXF, the dye fixing agent 2# will cause the glossiness of textile will become reddish. And using the other three dye fixing agent, the glossiness will become greenish.  Moreover, dye fixing agent 2# and 3# will cause the glossiness yellowish.  And dye fixing agent cause the glossiness of textile bluish. The DB value of dye fixing agent 4# do not change.

When we use dye CibacronFN dye fixing agent,  similar to 2#, the dye fixing agent 2# will cause the glossiness reddish and the other three agent will cause the glossiness greenish. Here, the four dye fixing agent will cause the textile of the dye fixing agent bluish. And the DB value of dye fixing 3# have the least changes. Foe LevafixCA series color matching dye, expect for the sightly influence of 4#, the other three dye fixing agent will cause the glossiness of the textile greenish.

Conclusion
For neutral color, the DF value of dyeing auxiliaries fixing agent is lowest. This means that: the dye fixing agent 4# have the less influence on the glossiness of the textile. Which is important to olive color, Grey, and brown. But for deeper color, this conclusion is not applicable. For all kinds of neutral dye fixing agent color matching, dye fixing agent 2# will cause the color reddish. By experiment, we can conclude : the non-formaldehyde content dye fixing agent is better than dixcyandiamide formaldehyde for neutral and deeper color. It have less influence on the textile glossiness. Based on the above study, the dyer can choose different product to adjust the color of textile. In order to prevent the color change problem caused by dye fixing agent, the dyer can build a dye receipt database and study the influence of different dye fixing agents on the textile.
