High Temperature Leveling Agent Description

In textile dyeing, it is hoped that the dye will be evenly dyed on the fabric without any unevenness and spots. For this reason, it is generally ensured by using a suitable leveling agent. Polyester is one of the fastest growing of the three synthetic fibers. It has good performance and is the main fabric used in the outerwear. When polyester and its blended fabrics are dyed at high temperature and high pressure with disperse dyes, uneven dyeing is resulted by the poor dispersion of dye and improper heating rate control. Therefore, it is necessary to add an effective leveling agent when dyeing. Because the dyeing temperature of polyester fabric is generally around 130 °C, the leveling agent used is generally called high temperature leveling agent.

When the high-temperature leveling agent is used in the dyeing of polyester and its blended fabrics, it can effectively provide good effects of migration and transfection. It has excellent dispersity and can prevent the disperse dye from agglomerating at high temperature, making dyeing uniform and reproducible.

1.Product Physical Index
High temperature levelling agent GY980 is yellow transparent mucilage. The pH of the 1% aqueous solution is 6-8, which is easily soluble in water. The product contains no formaldehyde, no phosphorus, no APEO, and is an environmentally friendly product.

2. Product Features
The dispersion and migration of this product is particularly strong, so the final product is well dyed. The flaw like color flowers and color willows is less. This product has a high dyeing rate and can save dye usage. The foam has low foaming, good detergency, no sticking to the cylinder, and little influence on the color light.

3. Applicable Variety:
Polyester and its blended fabric disperse dyes are dyed at high temperature and high pressure.

4. Production Equipment
High temperature and high pressure dyeing machine

5. Production Process
5-1 Process Formulation and Process
Disperse dye           X(o.w.f)
High temperature levelling agent GY980    0.5-2.0g/L
98%HAc               0.3ml/l
Bath ratio 1:6-10. The temperature rise rate should be strictly controlled above 100 °C to ensure slow and uniform dyeing of the dye. Depending on the type of dye and the depth of dyeing, it is kept at 130 ° C for 30-60 min.

4. Conclusion

(1)With excellent dyeing transfer performance, so the final products have good levelness, with less defects of color stripe.

(2)It has excellent dispersibility, can prevent the accumulation and crystal growth of dye particles under high temperature conditions, promote the diffusion of dye molecules from the fiber surface to the interior, improve the utilization rate of dyes.

(3)Does not affect the shade.

(4)Strong retarding ability, can effectively control the dyeing rate of fabrics at different temperatures.
