In the process of storage and transportation of nylon light fabric, local slight yellowing often occurs, which affects the appearance and quality of fabric. And in this situation, anti yellowing agent or anti phenolic yellowing agent is required in the textile processing.

Cause Analysis
1. The plastic packaging bag contains contaminants and BHT (butyl hydroxy phenyl ether), which make chemical reactions with chinlon, resulting in color variation and yellowing.
2. Select yellowing resistant agent to dip or pad.

Anti yellowing agent used in Nylon fabric processing

Nylon is a preferred fabric for high-grade swimwear, sportswear, casual wear and underwear. White or light-colored fabrics are very easy to produce yellow in high-temperature treatment (such as hot stereotypes, high-temperature die, etc.) or in the transport, storage process, so the nylon fabric must be yellowing-resistant finishing. Anti phenolic yellowing textile finishing agents are also required in order to the wearing comfort of the  the nylon fabric .

The PH value of additive solution has a great effect on the effect of yellowing resistant agent, and the stronger the PH value is, the better the effect of the phenol-yellowing is. This is due to the difference in the charge of polyamide fiber under different PH conditions. The stronger the acidity is, the stronger the positive resistance is, and the stronger the adsorption ability of the anion-type yellowing resistant agent is.

The treatment bath temperature on yellowing resistant of yellowing resistant agent also has a certain effect. Under the same conditions, when the temperature of the treatment bath is 70~80℃, the effect of anti-phenol yellowing is 4-5. When the yellowing resistant was processed, the treatment time was short, and the anti-phenol yellowing agent could not be fully absorbed by the fabric, so the effect is reduced; when the treatment time is too long, it is unfavorable to improve the production efficiency. The treatment time of yellowing resistant agent used in impregnation process is 20 min.

Effect of washing water against the effect of yellowing resistant. Washing resistance is one of the criteria for evaluating the effect of anti-phenol yellowing. If after a certain degree of washing, the effect of the yellowing resistant agent has not decreased significantly, and the effect of yellowing resistant is still at 4, then it meets the dyeing and finishing requirements of high-grade nylon fabric.
