Technical Application of Towel Silicone Oil

The cotton woven towel usually will be with rough & stiff hand feeling ,and poor performance in various property. So various types of softeners are needed to modify the surface of the towel fabric,confer the towel fabric with soft,fluffy,smooth hand feeling and excellent water absorption etc.Currently on the market,there are softener flake,soft oil, general amino silicone oil and terpolymer silicone oil etc. But compare with silicone oil ,softener flake is not soft & smooth enough. General amino silicone oil does not has enough hydrophilicity and stability,which easy cause fabric yellowing. General terpolymer silicone oil can reach the requires of towel hand felling finishing on softness and smoothness,but the thickness is worse than soft oil,so some towel factory usually use soft oil and terpolymer silicone oil to make towel finishing. By designing a special synthetic route, our company has developed a new type of multi-component copolymer silicone oil HT-6033 which copolymerizes various groups such as silicone, amide, polyether, polyester, organic amine, etc. Now through the following experiments, test its basic performance.

According to the above data, by embedding polyether, polyester and other groups in organosilicone oxygen chain and through quaternary amination modification, towel silicone oil HT-6033 has low yellowing. It is especially suitable for light or extra white towel fabric finishing. And the excellent hydrophilicity & stability ensure not stick roller , and there is not oil bleaching and not demulsification under high temperature, so the product has high applicability.

According to the above data,due to the embedding of amide, polyester and other large molecular groups on the linear silicone chain, towel silicone oil HT-6033 has the advantages of terpolymer silicone oil and soft oil , which make the treated woven towel fabric with more soft, smooth ,fluffy hand feeling,make the towel style is more outstanding.
