After receiving the message from the market, some customers didn’t achieve the desired effect after using the wet rubbing fastness improving agent on the denim fabric. Through the customer's finishing process, we learned that the problem was the baking temperature. The general wet rubbing fastness improving agent needs to be baking at 100-120 ℃ after dip & pad to achieve the desired effect, while the customer's actual baking temperature is only 60-80 ℃, It can not make the wet rubbing fastness improving agent to better combine with the fabric, thus affecting the application effect. In order to solve this problem, our company has newly developed a special wet rubbing fastness improving agent 819 for jeans. The baking temperature is 60-80 ℃, which can achieve good fastness effect, and the practical process with good anti-staining effect will not reverse staining.
Experimental process:
1. Experimental materials and equipment
1.1 Material: denim
1.2 Auxiliaries: environmental wet rubbing fastness improving agent 819, common wet rubbing fastness improving agent.
1.3 Equipment: high temperature and high pressure dyeing small prototype, 101-3 electric constant temperature blast drying oven, y571b wet rubbing fastness tester.
1.4 Test Objective: To test the wet rubbing fastness and anti - back - staining effect of the denim washing process.
2. Finishing process
According to the types and concentrations of practical dyes, the types and forms of treated fabrics, the usage is as follows:
2.1 Dipping:
Dosage: wet rubbing fastness improver 3 ~ 5% (OWF) (adjust the depth of the visual shade)
Bath ratio: 1:10 ~ 15
Process: dyed cloth (pH ≤ 7) → impregnation (room temperature, time: 20min) → baking (60 ℃ ~ 70 ℃)
3. Matters needing attention
1. After preparation, please use it immediately. Before use, the sample test should be done well. The above process is for reference only.
2. It can only be used alone,can not in one bath with silicone oil, fixing agent and anionic auxiliaries.
3. The temperature of working fluid is best controlled at 20 ℃ ~ 35 ℃.
4. Before using wet friction, the desizing of the cloth surface shall be clean to avoid affecting the effect of wet friction fastness.
5. Before using wet friction, clean up the cloth alkali (control pH ≤ 7), salt and soap.

Performance summary
1. When the baking temperature is 60-80 ℃, the result of wet rubbing fastness is very good, which can be improved by more than 1-2 grades.
2. Good anti - staining effect, the practical process will not be anti - staining on the cloth and pocket.
3. Good stability, easy to use.
4. Meeting the EU standards, excluding DMF, it is an environmental protection product.
