What is a oil remover?

A oil remover is a type of new industrial cleaner made up of a complex mixture of organic and inorganic chemicals that are water-based and developed using the principles of emulsification and saponification.

Oil removers have a wide range of applications in various industries such as metalworking, food processing, textiles, transportation, shipping, construction, electronics, pharmaceuticals, and chemical industries. Although the surface substrates cleaned in these fields are different, the purpose is always to restore the cleanliness of the substrate surface and preserve the surface integrity of the substrate.

In the textile industry, oil removers were initially used to remove the oil additives in the spinning process of chemical fibers such as polyester, nylon, acrylic, and spandex, as well as the oil additives added during the weaving process.

The spinning oil additives on chemical fibers and the additives added during weaving and processing are necessary, which makes the regain rate of chemical fibers relatively low, the dielectric constant smaller, the friction coefficient higher, and the continuous friction during weaving process can generate significant static electricity. Therefore, it is necessary to prevent and eliminate the accumulation of static electricity, and the use of oil removers can facilitate processing and endow fibers with smooth and soft characteristics.

Environmental-friendly oil remover

With the rapid development of textiles, the improvement of synthetic oil additives and weaving technology, and people's increasing environmental awareness, Hanker Fine Chemical has continuously developed and now developed an environmentally friendly oil remover - HDP.

Introduction

HDP is an environmentally friendly oil remover that does not contain environmentally harmful substances such as APEO. It has a good emulsifying and dispersing effect on all kinds of oil stains on chemical fibers, especially on spandex, with good removal and less loss, making it a good oil remover in pre-treatment. It can also be used in pre-treatment dyeing (bath method) of polyester fabrics without affecting the color effect. In addition, it can be bathed with silicone oil during shaping and has the effect of preventing the appearance of silicone oil spots.

Usage

Recommended dosage: ① degreasing: 1-2g/L; ② anti-silicone oil: 10-20g/L.
