What is ZDHC?
ZDHC stands for Zero Discharge of Hazardous Chemicals. It is a project jointly promoted by textile, footwear brands, chemical companies, associations, etc., which aims to achieve zero discharge of hazardous chemicals in the supply chain by establishing industry standards and implementing them. The newly added certified product this time is anti-stain soap detergent.
ZDHC MRSL Compliance Level
ZDHC provides guidance to chemical manufacturers to avoid using substances in the production process of formulations through the MRSL production limited substance list, which covers but is not limited to the areas of production of raw materials, wet processing, processing machinery maintenance, wastewater treatment, hygiene, and pest control. ZDHC MRSL includes the following three levels:
Level 1: Analysis screening + Analysis testing + SDS review
Level 2: Meet the requirements of Level 1 and conduct on-site assessment of the manufacturer's management system
Level 3: Meet the requirements of Level 1 and Level 2, and conduct on-site assessment of the manufacturer's chemical hazard assessment capability, including the ability to write SDS according to the GHS classification and labeling system
