In general conditions,  according to conventional requirements, different fabrics has different requirement on amino silicone oil as follows:

① Pure cotton, blended knitting fabric and woven fabric mainly requires soft hand feeling, and the 0.6 ammonia value of amino silicone oil should be chose.

② Dacron fabric requires smooth hand feeling, the 0.3 amino value of silicone oil should be chosen.

③Real silk fabric and woven fabrics requires smooth hand feeling, and have high requirement on glossiness. And the 0.3 amino value of silicone oil should be chosen. And the mixture of smooths will increase the glossiness.

④ The wool and its blended fabric requires softness, smoothness and elasticity hand feeling with low glossiness change. So 0.6 amino value and 0.3 amino value amino silicone oil blended produce should be chosen. And in some time, the increase of smoothness agent will help to increase the glossiness and the elasticity.

⑤ Cashmere sweater and other cashmere fabric requires better hand feeling than wool fabric. So we can choose high concentration compound.

⑥ Chinlon hosiery requires smoothness, so the high elasticity amino silicon oil is chosen.

⑦ Acrylic Raschel blanket and other acrylic blending yarn requires softness and high elasticity, so the 0.6 amino value amino silicon oil should be chosen.

⑧ Linen (flax and ramin)mainly requires smoothness, so the amino silicone oil with 0.3 amino value should be chosen.

⑨ Rayon and artificial cotton fabric mainly requires smoothness, so the amino silicone oil with 0.6 amino value should be chosen.

⑩ Dacron alkali reduction fabric , is mainly to improve the hydrophilicity of the fabric.  We can choose the polyether modified silicone oil (CGF), which is made from the hydrosilylation reaction between methyl silicone oil containing hydrogen and polyether, such as polyethylene glycol and polypropylene glycol . But its softness is poor. The new polyether modified silicone oil introduces reactive epoxy groups on the silica chain, which improves the hand feel and durability of the fabric.
